 POLYURETHANE FOAM (P.U. FOAM)
 A Future Concept
Polyurethane foam involves a simple process of mixing Resin & MDI in the presence of a catalyst, additives and blowing agents. This process leads to the formation of millions of tiny closed cells during the reaction.
Though a simple process, Polyurethane foam has multi-variate applications and is likely to become the most ideal and cost-effective substitute for conventional articles used in various industries.
 New Insulation Dimensions
Rigid polyurethane foam has gained wide acceptance owing to its remarkable insulation properties.
('K' value just 0.014K calories/mhr°C).
The Resulting Foam Has The Following Attributes Or Characteristics
Light weight, easy to handle, contributes to the strength of the structure, does not shrink or settle, resists water, adheres to most metals, compatible to most metals, bricks, gypsum, paper & wood.
The Resulting Foam Has The Following Technical Features
Has the lowest thermal conductivity (K= 0.014 K Cal/mhr°c)
Provides an economical solution to insulation and ceiling or sealing problems for roofs of air-conditioned or air-conditioning buildings.
Possesses a very wide continuous operating temperature range from -200°C to +150° C.
It is fire.resistant and self extinguishing as per ASTMD-1%2-68 BS-476.
Saves working time upto 90% and in investment upto 30% compared to conventibnal methods of sealing and insulation.
It is resistant to chemicals. (Dilute acids, alkalies, carbo-hydrates, mineral oils, normal petrol, diesel fuel, etc.)
It has good compressive strength.
It is resistant to micrpbes arid pests and is unaffected by Fungi, Mildew, Parasites, Termites, Ants ete.
