 Fiber Glass
Fiberglass products are used as thermal and acoustic insulation for floors, walls, roofs, air-conditioning and piping on any type of building such as dwellings, offices, hospitals, schools, airports, theaters and villas as well as process and petrochemical industries.
Description Fiberglass products are manufactured from stable glass fibers bonded with thermosetting resins. Light in weight, strong and resilient. Easy to handle. Available in form of flexible rolls, semi-rigid & rigid boards and preformed rigid pipe coverings; unfaced or faced with or without reflective vapor barriers (FSK, ASJ, ALUGLASS, WMSK, Vinyl) or acoustic facings (BGT, YGT, Fiberglass cloth)

Thermal Conductivity Thermal conductivity of Fiberglass products is described in the following table when tested in accordance to BS 874, ASTM C 177, 518; IS08301, 8302 or DIN 52612
Fire Safety
Fibers are Non combustible when tested in accordance with BS 476 (part4), ASTM E 136. Unfaced and faced with Glass reinforced Aluminium I Kraft laminate facing (FSK) are U. L. accordance to UL 723 through ASTM E 84.
Flame spread: 15 Smoke developed: 0
Moisture Absorption
Less than 1 % by volume when tested in accordance with ASTM C 11 04, BS 2972 or 6676.
Fiberglass products do not absorb moisture from the ambient air nor water by capillary attraction. Only water under pressure can enter the insulation products, butthat will quickly dry out owing to the material's open cell structure. While FSK & ASJ Faced products achieve Water Vapor Permeance of 0.02 perms ALUGLASS faced products achieve ZERO Water Vapor Permeance when tested in accordance to ASTM E 96 Desiccant Method.
Non Toxic
Fiberglass products are non hazardous to health.
